Bala's Shipping Policy

Bala offers shipping within the contiguous 48 states in the U.S. They have two ways to charge shipping on orders. If an order contains heavier weighted items like the Power Ring and Beam, there will be an automatic $7 "Heavy" shipping fee. For orders containing smaller/lighter items like Bangles or accessories, there is a $7 fee to ship anywhere in the contiguous U.S. If an order contains a mix of heavy and lighter/smaller items, the shipping fees will be combined to charge a total of $14 for shipping. Bala's shipping team typically processes and ships orders within 1-3 business days. Orders are shipped using DHL via USPS, FedEx SmartPost, or FedEx Ground, depending on the weight of the package. Delivery times are typically 3-10 business days, but there may be delays due to longer than usual delivery times experienced by mail carriers. Bala does not currently offer expedited shipping, guaranteed shipping timelines, or alternate shipping options. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and PO Boxes is not available. International orders are accepted, and the shipping rate will be calculated at checkout after entering a valid international address. Currency is collected in USD, and an exchange rate will apply. International orders may take additional time to deliver. Shipping to Ukraine and Russia is currently suspended due to ongoing unrest in the area. Bala's Return Policy

Bala has a straightforward return policy for products purchased directly from their website, shopbala.com. If you purchased Bala products from another retailer, you will need to process your return or exchange through that retailer. To initiate a return or exchange, you can visit their returns portal at https://returns.shopbala.com. If you received a gift from Bala and need to return or exchange it, there is a separate process for that which can also be accessed through the returns portal. Bala customers are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning merchandise, unless the item is marked as Final Sale. Exchanges, however, are given free shipping both ways. It's important to note that Bala currently does not accept international returns or exchanges. The holiday return policy for 2022 allows orders placed between November 1st and December 31st to be eligible for return within 60 days of the delivery date. For purchases outside of this period, the standard returns and exchanges period of 30 days applies. Bala reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet their return requirements, such as merchandise that has been worn or washed, or items that exhibit indicators of use for photoshoots or production use only. Returns and exchanges are not accepted on items marked as Final Sale. To initiate a return or exchange, customers can visit the returns portal and follow the step-by-step instructions. The portal allows customers to choose between a refund, an exchange for another item, or an "Instant Refund" that can be used to place a new order immediately. The Instant Refund is equal to the value of the return minus shipping costs. If the Instant Refund is not used, Bala will deactivate it once the return items are checked in and issue a refund for any outstanding balance back to the original payment method. Refunds and exchanges may take up to 15 business days to process once the return is delivered to the warehouse. The refund will then take an additional 3-5 business days to show on the original form of payment. To return a gift, customers can select the "Returning a Gift?" option on the returns portal and provide the necessary information. If there are difficulties in tracking down the details of the original order, customers can reach out to Bala's customer service for assistance. Customers can track their return by logging into their Bala account or using the return confirmation email. If they don't have a Bala account, they can track the return by re-entering their order information on the returns portal. If a purchase was made using Affirm, the return or exchange process is the same as for regular items. Affirm will be notified of the return and will process the appropriate refunds. Customers should not return their purchase to Affirm. It's important to note that Bala reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with their return policy, and they do not accept returns or exchanges for international orders.
